Seaside Marathon California

The 2026 Seaside Marathon California is known as the scenic beachfront running event and it's taking place on June 7, 2026, in Ventura, California. The start line is located at the Solimar Beach along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway.

This race is part of the Surfers Point Race Series. It's designed so that the runners can enjoy unique coastal experience with stunning ocean views throughout the course.

In general, the marathon follows the historic Rincon Highway and coastal bike paths. I would say it's an excellent choice for runners aiming to achieve a personal best or qualify for the Boston Marathon (certified course).

If you are interested in the full marathon, there are two-loop course. Even the shorter distances share the same beautiful beachfront setting.

The event welcomes runners of all levels like beginners to elite athletes. As usual, a generous 7-hour time limit and walker-friendly environment.

You can choose from multiple race distances:

Marathon (42.2 km) – 7:00 AM start
Half Marathon (21.1 km) – 7:15 AM
10K Run – 7:30 AM
5K Run – 7:45 AM

By past experience, a well-supported race experience with water stations, wide pathways, and a refreshing ocean breeze. The event also offers an optional early start (6:00 AM) for marathon participants who prefer additional time on the course.
