The Sri Chinmoy Marathon

The 2026 Sri Chinmoy Marathon is a unique and spiritually inspired running event held on August 24, 2026, at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, New York, just 45 minutes north of New York City. Organized by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, this event attracts runners from around the world seeking both performance and personal growth through endurance running.

The marathon features a USATF-certified, flat and fast course, widely known as “pancake flat,” making it ideal for runners targeting a personal best or a Boston Marathon qualifying time. The race is run on a 2.95-mile loop around Rockland Lake, with participants completing just under nine laps to reach the full marathon distance.
